By accessing this website and/or using any of our services, including placing an order through our 1-hour delivery platform, you agree that you have read, understood, and are bound by these Terms.
These Terms constitute an electronic record under the Information Technology Act, 2000 and relevant rules made thereunder, including the Information Technology (Intermediary Guidelines and Digital Media Ethics Code) Rules, 2021 and the Consumer Protection (E-Commerce) Rules, 2020, as amended from time to time.
“User”, “you” or “your” refers to the end user accessing the platform and using the services. “We”, “us”, “our”, or “Cookd” refers to Cookd Ventures Private Limited, including its affiliates and partners.
We reserve the right to update these Terms at any time. Continued use of the platform after changes implies acceptance of the revised Terms.
Use of Platform and Account Responsibility
- You must be at least 18 years of age to create an account and make purchases.
- If you’re under 18, your legal guardian must supervise your use of the platform.
- You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account details and for all activities under your account.
Product Listings and Pricing
- Products listed on the platform are genuine and provided either by Cookd or approved vendors.
- Prices shown are inclusive of applicable taxes and may change without prior notice.
- In case of pricing errors, we reserve the right to cancel the order and process a refund.
- Product images are for representation only. Refer to descriptions for accurate information.
Placing an Order
- Placing an order confirms your intent to purchase and creates a binding offer.
- You agree that the payment information provided is valid and that you are authorized to use it.
- Orders once placed through the 1-hour delivery platform cannot be cancelled or modified.
1-Hour Delivery Terms
- 2-hour delivery is available only in select pin codes during serviceable hours.
- Orders are dispatched immediately upon confirmation to ensure real-time fulfilment.
- You must be available to receive the order. If unreachable, the order may be cancelled without refund, especially for perishable items.
- Delivery timelines may vary slightly due to weather, traffic, or inventory at local hubs.
Payments
- All payments are processed via third-party payment gateways. We do not store your payment information.
- In case of a failed transaction where money is debited but the order is not confirmed, the amount will be refunded within 7–10 working days.
Returns, Refunds & Cancellations
- No returns, cancellations, or exchanges are allowed on 1-hour delivery orders.
- In the rare case that a product is damaged or missing in your order, please reach out to us within 1 day of receiving the order at support@cookdtv.com or via WhatsApp at +91 98843 44221 with photos and order details. If the issue is verified by our team, we may offer a replacement or partial credit at our sole discretion.
User Content
- Users may post reviews, comments, or questions. By doing so, you grant Cookd a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use, display, and distribute such content.
- We reserve the right to remove content that violates these Terms or applicable laws.
Platform Usage Restrictions
You agree not to:
- Violate any laws or third-party rights;
- Transmit harmful or misleading content;
- Use automated tools to access or scrape the platform;
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the platform;
- Post offensive or unlawful content.
Intellectual Property
- All content on the platform is owned by Cookd or its partners and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws.
- You may not use, copy, or distribute any content without written permission.
Limitation of Liability
- To the fullest extent permitted by law, Cookd shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.
- In any case, Cookd’s total liability shall not exceed the amount paid by you in the past 12 months.
Indemnity
You agree to indemnify and hold Cookd harmless from any claims, damages, liabilities, and expenses arising from your use of the platform, violation of these Terms, or infringement of any third-party rights.
Governing Law and Jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by Indian law. All disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of courts in Erode, India.
